We collect the minimum needed to run your work: a contact channel, your course context, and the materials you send. We never ask for, accept, or store Canvas or MyExcelsior credentials; your school accounts stay entirely in your hands. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with Excelsior College or Excelsior University, and delivery goes to your personal email only.
What we collect
Name if you offer one, an email and phone for delivery and updates, the course codes, instructions, rubrics, and drafts you send us, and the two sentences of professional context that ground your writing. Site analytics run aggregate-only; the contact form carries a honeypot field that humans never see and never fill.
What we never collect
School login credentials of any kind, Canvas, MyExcelsior, proctoring accounts, or email portals. If a message from anyone claiming to be us ever asks for a password, it is not us; close it and tell the chat desk. We also never request payment card numbers over chat; payment runs through the secure processor at checkout only.
How your information is used
To scope, quote, produce, and deliver your work; to run the free-revision window; and to reach you about your own orders. Writers see course context, never your identity beyond a first name. We do not sell, rent, or trade client information, and we do not contact your school, your employer, or anyone else about you, ever.
Retention and deletion
Order materials are kept while your engagement is active and for a short operational window after, then purged on cycle. Ask the desk to delete your record sooner and it happens, confirmed in writing.
Cookies and third parties
Essential cookies only, session continuity and chat state; no advertising trackers. Payment processing and messaging providers each see only the fragment they need to do their job.
Questions
The chat desk answers privacy questions like any other question: immediately, in plain language, via the contact page.
